Know Your Nature
Sunday, October 4 from 2-3:30pm
Ayurveda recognizes that each of us is unique and one size does not fit all when it comes to health and wellness. This workshop provides an introduction to Ayurveda—an ancient but deeply relevant science—the elements and doshas, how to know if you are in or out of balance and why, and daily practices to return to your natural state of balance. This workshop is interactive and experiential and will include some light asana as well as lecture and discussion with your peers.
Eat in Harmony
Sunday, November 1 from 2-3:30pm
In this class we'll dive deeper into knowing your own constitution and how best to nurture it with your diet. We'll explore the concepts of Agni, the Maha Gunas, the 6 tastes, and simple kitchen practices to implement today to support your digestion and increase harmony with the food you eat every day. The class will include a few yoga poses, pranayama and meditation as well as some smelling and tasting to awaken your senses and help you digest this new information.
Live in Rhythm
Sunday, December 6 from 2-3:30pm
Discover why routine is such a powerful Ayurvedic tool. Learn about the doshic times of day and what it means for your daily life. Design your own viable daily routine that will support your efforts to live and eat in harmony with your personal constitution. In class we'll do some light asana and try out a bunch of the daily practices and routines that Ayurveda recommends so you'll finish class with your own daily routine to implement at home.
